Mechanical Music

To a gearhead, the sound of a well-tuned engine is magical. For many like me, the sound of a V8 with a big, lumpy cam (ie. LOTS of valve overlap) is especially endearing, as, if the motor is done right, this is usually a sign of even more magical sounds to come when the engine hits the high RPMs where the cam is designed to work, providing the engine with the required amount of fuel and air to make it all happen.
